Intensive Mixers, Pelletizing Discs and Fine Grinding Equipment
Eirich develops high-performance technologies for the mixing, granulation, pelletizing and fine grinding of mineral raw materials. Recognized worldwide for its expertise in material processing, Eirich delivers solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve product quality and support more sustainable industrial processes.
Its portfolio is complemented by industrial testing services, engineering, commissioning and specialized maintenance support.
Eirich Intensive Mixer
The Eirich Intensive Mixer combines a rotating pan with an eccentric high-speed agitator, separating transport and mixing functions to achieve superior homogeneity in cycle times significantly shorter than conventional mixers. The result is a more precise preparation process with exact control of the specific energy input into the batch.
Suitable for dry, moist, or pasty raw materials, the equipment efficiently processes abrasives, refractories, fine ores, and industrial residues. Its modular design and interchangeable wear parts ensure high operational availability and low maintenance costs over the equipment's full service life.
Eirich Pelletizing Disc
The Eirich Pelletizing Disc produces pellets with controlled particle size and high mechanical strength from iron ore fines, industrial powders, and recoverable residues. Independent control of rotational speed, inclination angle, and water addition point allows fine-tuning of the size distribution — delivering uniform pellets with high porosity and excellent reactivity in the furnace.
When combined with the Intensive Mixer in the homogenization stage, the integrated Eirich system produces pellets with superior green and dry strength, reducing rejection rates and increasing overall yield in the agglomeration process.
Eirich Fine Grinding Equipment
Eirich mills are designed for the efficient comminution of minerals, slags, refractory materials, and industrial by-products requiring narrow particle size distribution and high purity. Wet or dry grinding technology, with linings and grinding media tailored to the processed material, ensures minimal contamination and maximum consistency of the final product.
Integration of the mills with other Eirich equipment — mixers and pelletizing discs — enables the design of closed-loop preparation circuits, optimizing energy consumption and increasing the recovery of fines with high commercial potential.
Plant Engineering
Eirich provides full plant engineering services for greenfield and retrofit projects — from process sizing and layout design to supervised commissioning and start-up. Our engineering team integrates the different preparation stages — grinding, mixing, and agglomeration — into a coherent system, optimized for the client's specific raw material and quality requirements.
Post-installation support includes preventive maintenance programs, equipment refurbishment, and supply of original spare parts, ensuring maximum availability and asset longevity throughout the plant's service life.
Eirich Innovation Center
The Eirich Innovation Center is a fully equipped industrial laboratory housing scaled-down versions of the complete equipment line — mixers, mills, and pelletizing discs. Companies looking to validate processes, develop new products, or optimize existing formulations can conduct feasibility tests and pilot batch production under near-industrial conditions, with dedicated technical support throughout.
Results from the Innovation Center provide reliable data for sizing the definitive equipment, reducing investment risk and accelerating the time-to-market of new processes.
